According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the 2021-2022 influenza season was responsible for 9 million illnesses, 10,000 hospitalizations, and 5,000 deaths.
In light of this, the Hopkinton Health Department is announcing two Drive Thru Clinics in October:
- SENIOR DRIVE THRU CLINIC
- Friday, October 13th
- 9:30AM – 11:30AM
- Hopkinton Senior Center
- 28 Mayhew St
- SCHOOLS & ALL AGES DRIVE THRU FLU CLINIC
- Friday, October 20th
- 2:30PM – 5PM
- Hopkinton Middle School
- 88 Hayden Rowe St

I find it interesting that the town approves drive-thrus for flu clinics but prohibits them for coffee shops and banks sounds like discrimination to me.
