More than 85 residents gathered on the steps of Town Hall tonight to show their support for embattled Hopkinton Police Sergeant Tim Brennan. As Brennan arrived for his scheduled hearing he was greeted with a hero’s welcome, with the crowd spontaneously chanting “Thank you, Tim”. Brennan, clearly unaccustomed to the spotlight, moved past the scene, quietly making his way to the basement of Town Hall.
