Severe Drought
Despite recent rainfall, Massachusetts has declared a Mandatory State of Water Supply Conservation, effective April 1, 2025. What does that mean?
- Groundwater levels remain low.
- Pumping capacity is still limited due to the prolonged drought that began last fall.
- Fire Danger: We’ve already had several brush fires in the area.
- No Lawn Watering until further notice.
- No Non-essential outdoor water use. This includes washing vehicles and filling the pool.
