MLK JR Annual Interfaith Day January 22

The Islamic Masumeen School of Hopkinton announced that their annual Martin Luther King, Jr. Interfaith Day will be held Sunday, January 22, 2023 at 12:00 PM at 115 Wood Street.

Refreshments will be served, and speakers will include:

  • Town Clerk Connor Degan
  • Chief of Police Joseph Bennett
  • School Superintendant Carol Cavanaugh
  • Cathleen Dinsmore of Hopkinton Freedom Team
  • Pastor Lourey Savick of United Parish of Upton
  • Select Board member Shahidul Mannan
  • Shaykh Tabarsi of IMCNE

The Islamic Masumeen Center of New England is a non-profit religous organization that established its current location in 1995. In addition to a well-attended Islamic school operated by more than 100 families, the IMCNE organizes community events like the MLK day program and blood drives and actively participates in local town events.
