Today the City of Milford announced the hiring of Tim Brennan, the former Hopkinton Police Sergeant.

“I’m thrilled to be joining this organization,” said Brennan. “The Milford Police Department has a long and storied tradition of service and I am proud to continue the work I’ve done for my entire professional career.”

Congratulations, Tim!
All Hop residents should take note — because this definitely shows one of the biggest failures of our previous Select Board.
A neighboring town is definitely aware of every nuance of this case and had to do proper due diligence prior to hiring.
One just needs to read all rhe Kroll reports (it takes time, they’re assuming most people won’t), understand the ACTUAL timeline, and listen closely to our Town’s Council (specifically at our last Town Meeting) to realize our leaders FAILED in a way that affected so many individuals, and our town.
THANK YOU TIM — this was a big “wake up” call that uncovered so many poor decisions that the majority of residents weren’t aware of. Unfortunately, it’s still unraveling. Fortunately, I’ll see it through because I’m committed to justice.
Congratulations Tim ! Hopkinton’s great loss is a true win for the people of Milford. I think you’ll find the men and women of Milford PD will have your 6 unlike your former department.
Congratulations Tim…A great addition to the Milford Police Dept…They are very lucky to have you on their force. Very best to you!
I am so happy for Tim and full of sadness that a dedicated caring professional was treated so poorly , Hopkinton’s loss
