October 21

  • Caller reported an inside odor of natural gas. Officer Schofield responded with the fire department.
  • Officer Buentello handled a traffic complaint on Granite St.
  • Animal control returned a dog to its owner on Cedar St.
  • Caller reported a bicyclist cutting off vehicles and acting erratically. Officer Buentello found the bicyclist and spoke with him about his behavior and operation.
  • 911 caller reported a fire alarm activation.

October 22

  • Officer McKeon removed a small branch from West Elm St.
  • Caller reported he was stuck in an elevator and was unsure if it lost power. Officer Quinzani responded with the fire department.
  • Caller reported a hit and run in the Shell parking lot on Main St.
  • Walk-in reported she believed her car was broken into. Several items were missing.
  • Caller reported his brother’s grave was possibly getting vandalized. The caller stated only his brother’s grave’s flowers were missing and damaged. He just wanted the issue logged.
  • 911 caller reported a gas leak in her basement. She was advised to evacuate until the authorities arrived.
  • Caller reported a stuck raccoon on College St.
  • Caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Deer Run. It was a white van that has been parked on the side of the road the last few nights. When Officer O’Neil responded the vehicle was unoccupied.

October 23

  • A message was left with DPW regarding a dead raccoon on Fruit St.
  • Caller reported trees being cut on conservation land by South Mill St.
  • Caller reported Blueberry Ln was blocked by construction. Officer Walker checked to make sure the road was passable.
  • Officer Diaz assisted the fire department with an illegal burn on West Main St.
  • Officer Saletnik assisted the fire department with a man passed out in a bathroom.

October 24

  • A message was left with animal control regarding a large crow or blackbird that appeared injured in a resident’s yard on Exchange St.
  • Milford and State PD were advised of a woman and young girl walking up the 495 ramp towards Milford.
  • Bank Manager reported an un-wanted party in their business. Officers McNeil and Walker responded. The officers saw that the party was within their first amendment rights to film.
  • Caller requested assistance in closing her secondary door. Officer Burchard assisted.

October 25

  • Caller stated he thought he heard a car accident on Wood St. Officers responded to the reported area but did not find anything.
  • Walk-in turned in found property on Lumber St. It was returned to its owner.
  • Caller reported he accidentally hit a mailbox on Hayden Rowe St.
  • Caller reported his wife drove into their garage door on South Mill St.
  • Officer Walker checked on a partially parked vehicle on East Main St.
  • Caller reported a staff on staff assault.
  • Several officers checked the woods by Meserve St. after a caller reported hearing someone in the woods.

October 26

  • Caller reported his mailbox was vandalized overnight on Thayer Heights Rd. Officer Buentello took a report.
  • Officer Burchard came across a vehicle in the middle of West Main St. and assisted in removing the vehicle.
  • 911 caller reported a missing 7 year old girl. Several units responded, but found the girl.
  • Caller reported a part of large excavator was stolen.
  • Officer Ziniti advised a resident on proper roadway rules have they were reported for spray painting the road in anticipation of a party they were having that night.
  • Caller reported concern for his safety after having an aggressive conversation with his neighbor.
  • A message was left with DPW regarding boxes on the side of Ash St. The caller that reported them was unsure if they were empty but was concerned someone would hit them.

October 27

  • Caller reported a low hanging wire on Main St. Verizon was notified.
  • Caller reported a raccoon acting strangely outside a building on West Main St. Animal control responded and took the raccoon into possession.
  • Caller reported his neighbor for burning a fire outside and was concerned about the size and proximity to his yard.
  • Officer Saletnik attempted to speak with a resident regarding property that belongs to her ex-boyfriend. There was no answer.
