“Hopkinton Gives Back” will take place on August 19th between the hours or 11am-4pm at Mark and Candace Rhodes’ home located at 24 Hidden Brick Road.  The event has a goal of building 2,000 backpacks and supplying at least 10 scholarships to Nature’s Classroom for Hopkinton Students.  The backpacks will be distributed to local schools in Middlesex and Worcester County.

Pre-registration will help the organizers to distribute the workload. Interested readers can register here. As a bonus, volunteers will be rewarded with ice cream.

This event is sponsored by the 200 Foundation. Since 1964, The 200 Foundation, a group of MetroWest business and community leaders, has focused on raising money for programs that assist underprivileged families and individuals to increase their well-being. The 200 Foundation’s focus is to assist those most in need of food, clothing, shelter and rehabilitation. This mission has made a profound impact in people’s lives within our community.
