Class of ’24 Wants You to Win Chesney Tickets, Weekend at the Cape

Published on

The Hopkinton High School Senior Class Secretary, Stephanie Johnson, is thrilled to announce an upcoming online auction. The funds raised will go towards covering expenses for end of the year senior activities. The auction will take place from March 1st at 9:00 am to March 11th at 6:00 pm.

Among the 26 available items are big-ticket prizes such as Kenny Chesney tickets, a Boston Bruins fan package complete with a signed Linus Ullmark photo, and a Memorial Weekend getaway to a cape house in Mashpee. There are also Hopkinton items that will be huge hits such as an HHS parking pass for next year, tickets for HHS graduation in May, and a Parks and Rec Summer Camp spot with extended care.

As freshmen entering in the fall of 2020, the HHS Class of 2024 underwent a unique transition from middle school to high school. The cohort system and alternating days of in-person learning meant their typical freshman year experiences, including the collection of class dues, were disrupted, leaving them with the challenge of finding innovative solutions to bridge the gap. This online auction is their way of raising crucial funds to address a significant deficit they’re facing.
