Thought last night’s ceremony was moved indoors due to weather, the event was executed with precision as Hopkinton High School Principal Evan Bishop declared the Class of 2023 graduated. Bishop delivered a memorable commencement speech laced with more than 40 Taylor Swift song references, to the delight of his students and obvious confusion of their parents.

Hopkinton HS was brilliant to make the decision to move indoors. I heard other school districts decided to risk the outdoor ceremony and they had everybody running for cover and scrambling. A big congratulations to all of the HHS graduates and in particular, to Principal Bishop who was spot on and super relevant with his Taylor Swift references. Bravo!!
