In the funnies today, outgoing Planning Board Chair Gary Trendel recently crossed a milestone with Delta Airlines, logging 1,000,000 miles flown. As a “thank you”, the 6’ 8” Trendel was rewarded with a middle seat and a pair of Delta socks.
Trendel recently made a guest appearance on The HopTake, interviewing Massachusetts Secretary of Housing and Livable Communities, Ed Augustus, whose department is charged in part with overseeing the implementation of the MBTA Communities Act.
Just like several other Massachusetts cities and towns, we should be fighting the MBTA Communities Act. We don’t want it or need it in Hopkinton. We’ve already grown much too big for our britches.
Completely agree with Craig Stanley. We do not need this in Hopkinton. Too busy already. Town infrastructure can’t handle it, especially with ridiculously oversized bike lanes.
The good news is that the MBTA station is in Southboro
