The weather held off just long enough for more than 950 runners and walkers to participate in the 20th annual Sharon Timlin Memorial Race on June 17th in Hopkinton. Hosted by Red Sox legend Mike Timlin and his wife Dawn, the 5k raises money to The Angel Fund for ALS Research, an independent, non-profit charity, benefiting ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) research at UMass Chan Medical School.
