Hopkinton residents are advised that beginning Monday, March 27, paving will begin on Main Street in preparation for the 2023 Boston Marathon. The work will be done on the east side of the project only, from Grove Street to Ray Street.

Milling will be done on Wednesday, and paving will take place on Thursday, March 30. A temporary line stripe will be added following the paving, unless weather interferes.

To accommodate, the town will create an eastbound detour from Grove Street to Maple to Hayden Rowe on Wednesday and Thursday. Working hours are from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
