A missing husband, a wandering toddler, and Christmas lights vandalized in this week’s blotter.

ARRESTS

  • On November 17, 2022, 45-year old Silvania Da Silva of Marlborough, MA was arrested on charges of an outstanding warrant.

November 15, 2022

  • While on patrol on Spring Street, Officer Nicholas Saltenik was flagged down by a resident, who reported that she’d heard a loud bang the previous night, and when she checked the morning her stone wall was damaged. The crash was logged.
  • Officer Santoro received a call of an erratic driver on Connelly Hill Road. The driver was stopped and advised.
  • A Cedar Street resident walked in with a wallet he recovered at the State park.
  • Officer Tyler Staback took a complaint from a walk-in that someone had filed a tax return in her son’s name.
  • A walk-in reported her husband was missing. A missing person’s report was filed.
  • Officers assisted the fire department with a vehicle on fire on Lumber Street.

November 16, 2022

  • A Lincoln Street resident advised that there were downed wires on the street. Eversource was notified.
  • A walk-in filed a complaint of a party yelling obscenities at her, and possibly threatening as well.
  • A walk-in reported a dog barking in the early morning hours related to a civil dispute. Animal Control notified.
  • A Autumn Ridge resident reported that their holiday light wires had been cut. Officer Staback took the vandalism report.
  • Officer Normandin assisted a caller who reported a male party was selling alcohol and marijuana to underage children.
  • A Revolutionary Way resident called 911 to report a vehicle had followed her off of the highway, and that the operator may or may not be the person the caller has a restraining order against.

November 17, 2022

  • Several property checks, and some lost items turned in to the station.
  • An Elm Street caller reported she was scammed out of money.
  • An outstanding warrant arrest was made of a Marlborough resident.
  • An accident occurred on West Main Street. No injuries were reported.

November 18, 2022

  • A walk-in reported that a contractor did not finish his work. A report was taken.
  • A 911 caller reported she had found a 2-3 year old boy wandering on Dogswood Way. Multiple officers responded. The parents were located and the boy was reunited with his mother.
  • A walk-in reported her purse had gone missing.
  • Officer LaTour made the rounds at the high school football fields.

November 19, 2022

  • Officer Saletnik issued a written warning for an overnight parking violation on Church Street.
  • Sergeant Schofield issued a violation for an overnight parking violation on Walcott Street.
  • Sergeant Schofield issued a violation for an overnight parking violation on Trevor Lane.
  • Sergeant Schofield issued a violation for an overnight parking violation on Overlook Road.
  • A walk-in sought assistance with a civil matter on social media.
  • A Chestnut Street resident reported that she was driven off the road by a lifted white pickup truck. The incident was logged.
  • A 911 caller reported an erratic vehicle on Hayden Rowe. The driver pulled in the the high school. The were checked and all was OK.

November 20, 2022

  • Sergeant Schofield issued multiple warnings for parking violations on Meadowland Drive, Emma Drive, Falcon Ridge Road, and Walcott Street.
  • Officer McKeon noticed the traffic lights were not working on Hayward Street. He attempted to reset them but was unable. DPW was notified.
  • Officers McKeon and Staback took a report of a civil dispute regarding an online sale from a South Street resident.
  • A Cedar Street resident called to report a male party riding a dirt bike without a helmet. The area was checked with a negative find.
  • An Ash Street caller reported a bull loose in her backyard. Animal Control was notified. Area was checked and the animal was gone on arrival, back into the woods.
