Arrests

  • On July 12, Robert Lee of Hopkinton was arrested on charges of:
    • Operating under the influence – liquor (2nd offense)
    • Procession of an open container of alcohol in vehicle
    • Negligent operation of a motor vehicle

July 8

  • Officers Walker, McKeon, and Quinzani each assisted the fire department with separate fire alarm activations.
  • Caller reported a bird was stuck in a mouse trap. Animal control handled the incident.
  • Officer Buentello spoke with a resident regarding an on-going speeding complaint.
  • Officer Bennett spoke with a construction crew and asked them not to block the bike lane.
  • Caller reported an injured rabbit on Heartwood Way.
  • Verizon was notified a construction barrel signaling a broken telephone pole was hit for a second time.
  • Walk-in reported his golden retriever puppy was missing.
  • Caller reported her son had been missing since July 3rd. He said he was going out with friends and hasn’t returned or answered his phone since. While Officer LaTour was on the phone with the mother, the son texted the father confirming his whereabouts. All was okay.
  • 911 caller reported an accident on West Main St. There were no injuries and operators are sorting out the arrangements on their own.

July 9

  • Officer Schofield and Staback advised a group on Sandy Beach to move along.
  • Officer Quinzani took a traffic compliant on Cedar St.
  • Walk-in reported she lost her license plate. She was advised how to proceed.
  • Walk-in reported she is a Door Dash driver and a male homeowner has been harassing her via Door Dash messages.

July 10

  • Caller requested someone check around the outside of her house on Davis Rd. after hearing someone knock on her door an hour prior and heard strange noises outside.
  • Caller reported a horse running in Frostpane Ln. without a rider. When officers arrived on the scene, the rider had found the horse and explained they fell off. The rider declined medical attention.
  • Detail officer reported lights on Main St. were out of cycle. The lights were reset.
  • Officer Santoro checked on a man detailing and painting a vehicle on the side of Aspen Way.
  • Officer Saletnik checked on a vehicle pulled on the side of Ash St. The operator was just cleaning something that had spilled.
  • Walk-in reported an operator parked next to him opened their driver door and hit his car. There was minimal damage but the vehicle drove away. The man was able to get the plate.

July 11

  • Officer Buentello returned a black backpack to its owner after finding it in the middle of Macadam Rd.
  • Officer Normandin spoke with a resident concerned about their neighbor cutting trees.
  • Officer Normandin and LaTour issued several parking citations for illegally parked vehicles.

July 12

  • Officer Staback spoke with a woman concerned about transactions made on one of her credit cards.
  • Officer Walker advised a vehicle parked in the middle of Downey St. to find a better way to park to conduct their land survey.
  • 911 caller reported an erratic operator on Main St.

July 13

  • Caller reported a dead baby fawn at the end of their neighbors driveway on Hayden Rowe St. Animal control was informed.
  • Walk-in reported his bike was stolen out of his driveway on Thursday and wished to report it.
  • Walk-in requested assistance with an issue they had with CVS overcharging them.

July 14

  • Officer McKeon checked the country club after finding the garage doors left open. All seemed okay.
  • Officer McKeon issued a parking citation to a vehicle parked on Constitution Ct after the fire department reported them for obstructing emergency vehicles.
  • Caller reported a dog with a watermelon bandana in the area. The caller was instructed to bring the dog to BayPath.
  • Several officers responded to an accident on Cedar St. after multiple 911 calls reported it.
  • Caller reported jet skiers causing a disturbance.
