On November 25, VB of Framingham was arrested for a Straight Warrant Arrest. During this time, officers responded to multiple calls for service, including motor vehicle accidents, road rage, animal control, and domestic disputes. Pivotal incidents included a rollover crash on West Main St., a fire on North St., and officers taking a swan off I-495 N.
Miscellaneous Community Concerns: The police department addressed a number of concerns shared by residents, including speeding vehicles around schools, icy roads, neighbor disputes, etc. They also helped with lost items, such as a cellphone and a wallet with several credit cards.
Animal-related calls were not unusual, from loose dogs to an owl caught in a soccer net. The department also reported potential illegal hunting, suspicious activity, and harassment cases involving minors.
Some citizens received courtesy transport when their vehicle broke down; officers were dispatched and assisted the citizen for transport. Others were offered legal advice as a courtesy. Officers interacted with citizens about road maintenance issues and coordinated with DPW.

November 18
- Multiple 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident with an airbag deployment on Granite St. There were no injuries.
- 911 caller reported a road rage incident that occurred on the highway. A man was reported to have thrown a water bottle and made threats.
- Officer Diaz responded to a report of a dog running out in the middle of Ledgestone Dr.
- Animal control was notified of a opossum in the front of the school. The opossum was secured and released back to the wilderness.
- Walk-in reported her daughter was being threatened. Officer Santoro spoke with the parties involved.
November 19
- Officer Buentello spoke with the owner of a vehicle who was reported for tailgating and speeding through the school parking lot.
- Officer Ziniti responded to a 911 call of an accident on South St. There were no injuries.
- Verizon was notified of power lines down on West Elm St.
- Walk-in reported two landscapers plugged a microwave into an outside outlet to heat up their lunch and she informed they they were not allowed to do that. Officer Buentello spoke with the business.
- Animal control was notified of a dog that broke off its leash and attacked her dog.
- Caller stated Amazon delivered a package but the caller did not receive it. The caller suspects it was delivered elsewhere or was stolen. The incident was logged.
- Caller reported a deer possibly hit her car on West main St.
November 20
- Officer McKeon checked on a vehicle that has been parked on Main St. with their headlights on for a while. A woman was sleeping inside but appeared to be okay.
- Caller reported a party screaming and threatening them. The party took off going to Milford.
- Animal control was notified of a 911 call reporting two dogs running in the middle of the street. The police are familiar with one of the dogs as it is aggressive. Officer Buentello spoke with animal control and the owner.
- Walk-in came looking for advice on an unwanted party in their home.
- Officer Saletnik received a report of high schoolers driving on West Elm St. 60 mph.
- Caller stated her daughter backed into her friends unoccupied car and would like a crash report.
- Officer Cappuccio saw a John Deere tractor fall off a truck and trailer. The truck circled back to get the tractor and all the vehicles seemed okay.
November 21
- 911 caller reported a motor vehicle accident on East Main St. Two tows were called.
- Walk-in reported her son was assaulted in school. Officer Cappuccio responded and took the report.
- Caller requested a log entry on a mattress dumped in his driveway.
November 25
- Caller stated her vehicle broke down in a bad spot on the road. AAA tow was on the way. Officer Buentello gave a courtesy transport to the owner’s home.
- Milford was informed of an erratic driver headed their way.
November 26
- Caller reported a dog that had been barking since 9pm. Officer Staback stated he would try to get in contact with the owner.
- Anonymous walk-in came in with a complaint regarding a neighbor situation.
- A resident reported what they thought was a gun shot.
- Officers checked on a house on Fairview Path after the owner received an alert from his security cameras. They found a packaged that was delivered and it appeared to have set off the alarm.
- DPW was notified of an icy bridge on Cedar St. that a caller almost slid off of.
November 27
- Worker from DPW found an ID on Main St. Officer Walker will get it back to its owner.
- Officer Walker and McNeil responded to a report of a two vehicle accident on Pleasant St.
- 911 caller stated two brothers got off the bus but did not return home. Their ages are 6 and 7. The boys were found safe.
- A report of a large fire on North St. came in. Officer Ziniti responded and confirmed it was an outside fire.
- Several calls came in about wires down on Pleasant St.
- A message was left with DPW regarding roadkill on Wood St.
- Two 911 calls reported a rollover on West Main St. Officers responded.
- Caller stated neighbor dispute because his dog went to the bathroom on his property.
November 28
- Report came in regarding an owl stuck in a soccer net on Mount Auburn St.
- Officer Quinzani checked on a vehicle on Pratt Way. The owner was taking their dog on a walk.
- Officer Beloin found a smart phone and a wallet with 19 credit cards, 1 license, and a medical marijuana license card.
- DPW was notified of icy roads.
- Caller reported suspicious activity. A female in a silver civic was pulling into driveways following a man walking and yelling at him.
November 29
- Caller stated two vehicles racing near the school. Officers responded but the vehicles were gone on arrival.
- Walk-in reported he sold an item to someone and that person has taken the money back. 911 caller reported her daughter was out on a walk with their dog when another dog bit theirs. The owner of the other dog took off. The caller wanted the situation logged.
- 911 caller reported a fire in their backyard.
- Security advised of a man being confrontational because they were not allowing him to charge his car on the property.
November 30
- Caller stated possible illegal hunting in the area.
- Caller stated her ex-boyfriend has taken her vehicle without authority. Officer DeBoer spoke and advised the caller.
- Officer Burchard responded to a commercial fire alarm activation with the FD.
- Officer LaTour and Vaz removed a swan from I-495 N.
- Caller reported her daughter in the 6th grade was being harassed on her phone.
December 1
- Caller was hoping to get information on restraining orders. Officer Ziniti spoke with the caller.
- A message was left for animal control regarding a lost dog running around Spring St.
- Caller reported a lost wallet. The caller wanted the incident logged.
