The Hoyt Family, along with the road race committee and the Town of Hopkinton have made the decision to move forward as planned with the 1^st Annual Dick Hoyt Memorial “Yes You Can” 5-Mile Road Race on Saturday, May 27, 2023 at 10:00 am in Hopkinton, MA.   

“Although we are saddened about the recent passing of Rick Hoyt, the family believes Rick would want the race to continue to honor his father. Rick was named the Race Director of the event and put his heart and soul into planning it over the past 5-6 months,” wrote the Hoyt Family.

“Participating in this race is a unique opportunity to honor Dick and Rick and celebrating all their courageous and inspiring accomplishments over the past 40 plus years.”

Race size limits have been imposed for all three events (5-mile run, 2-mile walk and kid’s fun runs) in order to safely manage the events.   Online registration continues to remain open.

Registration will close at 9:00pm on Friday, May 26, 2023 or once field size limits have been reached, whichever comes first.  Please note that participants will not be able to sign up for any of the events on race day.
