Solve this Mystery, win a prize! What happened on Pond Street?

Metrowest YMCA Summer Camp

It is a curious case indeed. Sometime last week the monument at the intersection of Pond and Winter Streets was knocked over. Even a casual passerby will note the size of the stone, and can conclude that it must have been struck with tremendous force to dislodge it.

Yet there are no marks on it.

DPW was dispatched this morning to sort the matter out, but the crew was confounded by the lack of physical damage. They expected to see fragments of stone on the street, but it was entirely intact. The only evidence left behind was what appeared to be plastic parts from a car’s grill.
