Arrests

  • On December 15, MJL of Hopkinton was arrested on charges of:
    • Operating under the influence – liquor

December 9

  • Officer Bennett took a report of vandalism at the cemetery.
  • Caller from leasing officer wanted to report a disturbance between a tenant. Officers Walker and Ziniti responded.
  • 911 caller reported her car was damaged but she did not hit anything. Officers thought it looked like a deer strike.
  • A resident who was out of town wanted to log a situation of fraud.
  • Caller reported a two car accident on Main St. with no personal injuries.

December 10

  • Officers assisted with a house lockout on Ash St.
  • Caller wanted to report harassment with a coworker.
  • Officer Normandin provided a courtesy transport to an individual whose vehicle was broken down on West Main St.
  • Caller reported inadequate lighting for pedestrians crossing on Main St. The calling party claimed she almost got hit by a car while crossing the road. She was advised to speak with the town.

December 11

  • Several officers responded to a report of an un-wanted party on Woodview Way.
  • Officer Buentello responded to a report of possible gunfire by Wood St.
  • Caller reported a vehicle on Granite St. with their hazards on who may have been hit by a branch. When officers arrived, the vehicle was gone.
  • Eversource was contacted about a tree down on wires.

December 12

  • Officer Normandin removed a branch from the middle of West Main St.
  • A motor vehicle accident occurred on West Main St. involving two vehicles. There were no injuries.
  • A traffic complaint came in regarding speeding cars on Hill St. that almost hit kids at the bus stop.
  • Several officers responded to a commercial fire alarm activation on Wilson St.
  • DPW was notified of a bag of trash on Spring St.

December 13

  • Officer Saletnik came up on a minor two motor vehicle accident on Main St.
  • Multiple calls reported a vehicle that looked to have been in an accident on West Main St. The airbags were deployed but there was no operator. Hopkinton PD contacted Milford PD to get in touch with the operator.

December 14

  • Officer Buentello tried getting a hold of a homeowner after their neighbor reported water coming out of their house on Susan Dr.
  • Caller stated there was a loose dog in the middle of Grove St. She went to bring it to the house of who she thought was the owner and all the doors were open to the house.
  • Caller reported a hit and run with an injury on Main St.
  • Walk-in stated he was cleaning out his dad’s attic and found an old 12 gage shotgun. He was looking to see how he can dispose of it.

December 15

  • Caller reported he found a lost wallet while at a track meet. Officer Cifuentes attempted to contact the owner but did not get through. The wallet was eventually dropped off at Wellesley PD.
  • Officer Cappuccio checked on a vehicle on Patriots Blvd. The operator was just waiting for some friends.
