HGYL is a part of the Massachusetts Youth Lacrosse league (MYL)

Age groups are as follows

• Kindergarten Little Laxers – This is a basic skills & drills season focused on practices once a week (on Sundays) and no games. T-shirts will be provided, and the program has sticks/goggles that we can lend to new players that do not have equipment; otherwise players will need to bring their own stick.
• U9 (grades 1 and 2) – practice once per week and games on Sunday
• U11 (grades 3 and 4) – practice twice per week and games on Sunday
• U13 (grades 5 and 6) – practice twice per week and games on Sunday
• U15 (grades 7 and 8) – practice twice per week and games on Sunday

2025 Indoor Practice @ ForeKicks in Marlborough
WEDNESDAYS – 3/5 to 4/9 for grades 1 through 8

• Indoor practices will start March 5th, 2025, for Grades 3-8.
• Grade 1/2 age group’s indoor practices will start on March 19th, 2025.
• We will move to outdoor practices at Fruit Street following the indoor schedule; practice schedule TBD

2025 MYL League Game Schedule

• Games will start on Sunday, March 30^th and finish up on Sunday, June 1st.
• There will be no games on April 20^th (Easter Sunday) & May 25^th (Memorial Day Weekend)
• The league also organizes a year-end MYL Jamboree in June:
  • 1st Weekend of 2025 Jamboree (GR 5th/6th & 7th/8th) will be June 7 & June 8.
  • 2nd Weekend of 2025 Jamboree (GR 1st/2nd & 3rd/4th) will be June 14 & June 15.

We also offer a Select Program for the U13 and U15 age groups. These are competitive games coached by former HS coach Katleyn Wedemeyer where playing time is not balanced and determined by the coach to remain competitive.
