Faith Community Church Celebrated 300 Years of existence!

Published on

This September Faith Community Church officially celebrated 300 years of existence. Formed on September 2, 1724 when 14 families signed a covenant together as the First Congregational Church of Hopkins Town, the church continues today as Faith Community Church of Hopkinton with two campuses, one in Framingham and one in Hopkinton. In fact, the original covenant of 1724 was read again and re-committed to in a night of prayer, reflection and renewal on September 12.

During the month of September the church sought to bring honor to God for His faithfulness through services, prayer meetings, worship events and culminated in a morning of celebration on September 22, 2024.

With worship services, food trucks, bouncy houses, games, and special ceremonies the church marked the occasion with joy and festivity. Both campuses came together as one to celebrate. Wherever you looked people were enjoying themselves, reflecting on the history of the church as they explored historical artifacts and a historical timeline still on display in the Hopkinton Campus.

Faith Community Church exists to love radically, live generously and watch Jesus do the extraordinary. Sunday, September 22, was truly a time where all three facets of our mission were on display.

The church looks forward to continuing its mission in Hopkinton and Framingham and welcomes everyone to join in our programs and services – see our website.
