Hopkinton Celebrates America’s Birthday!

To the Editor:

Hopkinton is preparing to celebrate our nation’s 250th birthday with this year’s Independence Day Parade. The Veterans Celebration Committee, together with the Hopkinton Democratic and Republican Town Committees, has been working hard to plan a memorable community celebration.

Everyone is invited to take part. Enter a float or vehicle, decorate a home along the parade route, walk or perform in the parade, or simply come out to watch and celebrate 250 years of America.

This year’s theme is “Hopkinton Celebrates America’s Birthday.” The parade will step off from the Town Common at 11 A.M. on Saturday, July 4.
