The boat ramp is reserved for Hopkinton residents during the summer, and Dana apparently believed the man was not a local. Video evidence shows Dana slapping the 21-year-old, then both ended up in the water. Allegedly, Dana held the younger man’s head underwater until bystanders pulled him off.

The Water Department will perform a REQUIRED hydrant flow test on Tuesday, May 19th at 10:00 P.M. The flow test will take place at 13 Main Street. We anticipate that this flow test will cause discolored water in the test area.
This year’s ballot features two contested races: School Committee, where three candidates — Kyla McSweeney, Sandra Irwin, and Sravana Krishna — are vying for two seats, and Board of Health, where incumbent Nasiba Mannan faces challenger Dimitry Zuckerman.
Bullet voting describe it an honest expression of preference. A voter who believes one candidate is clearly the strongest, and who is not enthusiastic about the others, is not obligated to fill in additional bubbles. Casting a vote for a candidate the voter does not actually support, simply because the ballot allows it, may dilute the voter’s first choice.
Public service requires the ability to disagree without belittling, mocking, or dismissing others. Hopkinton voters should decide whether Sravana Krishna has demonstrated that standard.
I’m supporting Sandra’s vision because I believe she will bring a perspective that is both fresh and grounded to the school committee.
