Dear Editor,

I am writing in support of Sandra Irwin for School Committee.

Like many Hopkinton residents, Sandra is passionate about our strong school system and is focused on the long term success of our students. As a mother of 3, she has children at various stages and will emphasize inclusivity and address the ever changing needs of our students.

Most importantly, Sandra has exceptional communication skills and welcomes debate with a collaborative mindset. In this position there will be a lot of opinions and her ability to respectfully understand other people’s perspectives is a key reason why she has my support.

In business, marketing decisions are some of the most visible in an organization. In Sandra’s career as a Global Marketing Strategist, she has built some key skill sets that will make her successful in this role around financial responsibility, a keen ability to make difficult decisions under pressure, the ability to explain complex issues clearly and a willingness to learn.
