Norma was married to the late David Henry Beach for 25 years, and then married to the late Robert M. Powell, who died in 1999.

Growing up in Hopkinton, Maryalyce quickly established her roots. After graduating from Hopkinton High School in 1969, she began working and met her first husband, Norm. After they were married, she moved away from Hopkinton for some time, but maintained a strong connection to her family.
Ed was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Ed was an incredible athlete and devoted sports fan. He was an avid golfer and counted down the minutes to see and play with his buddies at the St. Linus Golf League at Pinecrest. He was a baseball and basketball star for Framingham High, and never missed cheering for his Boston Celtics.
