The 128th Boston Marathon on April 15, 2024, will mark its centenary in Hopkinton and feature the Michael Lisnow Respite Center charity team. Co-founders of the center and special educators, Sharon Lisnow and Mary McQueeney, will start wave four of the run. Originating in 1997 to support families with disabled children, the center celebrates its 26th marathon anniversary with 73 runners fundraising to provide crucial services. Repeat runners, inspired by personal experiences and community impact, raise significant funds and awareness, weaving a tapestry of support and memories through the Respite Center's charity program.
