Carol Susanne (Kenna) Walsh, 89, of Oxford MA, formerly of Hopkinton MA, passed away on Friday, January 10th, 2025, after a brief illness. Plans are being made for a Service and Celebration of Life at Chesmore Funeral Home, on Saturday, January 25th 2025.
Results from the late-season survey indicate that this year's treatment was overall successful. The targeted species experienced significant reductions. We defer to the Town to determine the management needs, if any, for 2025 but do recommend assessing the lake’s vegetation assemblage at a minimum.
Since its inception, girlygirl P.A.R.T.S has raised over a million dollars to help fund ovarian cancer research. P.A.R.T.S is an acronym that stands for Pre-screening Awareness Required to Silence… ovarian cancer. All money raised goes towards Dana-Farber’s Director of Gynecological Oncology, Dr. Ursula Matulonis’ work to develop effective pre-screening tools for ovarian cancer.
