What Is the Charter Review?

The Town Charter is the foundational governing document for Hopkinton. It sets the rules for how local government operates. A review process is underway to determine whether the current Charter continues to reflect the community’s needs and values.

Town boards and employees provided early feedback to help develop the survey. It focuses on existing provisions and potential areas for improvement.
