  • A caller requested to speak to an officer regarding his wife’s cousin, who lives in town. Some concerning conspiracy theories surfaced on the cousin’s Facebook. Officer LaTour spoke with the caller and said he would follow up.
  • A caller reported illegal dumping by Constitutional Ct.
  • Multiple 911 calls reported a motor vehicle accident on South St. No injuries were reported.

Wednesday

  • Officer Walker checked on a running vehicle on Woodview Way. No one was around.
  • A 911 caller reported a two-car accident on W Main St. with no injuries.
  • A caller reported his wife found a dog by Hayden Rowe St. A message was left with ACO. The owner was contacted and picked up the dog.
  • A walk-in reported a missing wallet and military ID.
  • A walk-in came with concerns that a contractor may be a scam. Officer Brooks gave advice.
  • A caller reported that two male parties were yelling at cars and also stole his neighbor’s plowing sticks.
  • A front desk reported theft by one of their residents. Officer Diaz responded.

Thursday

  • A caller reported seeing two suspicious males walking around her neighborhood.
  • A caller reported seeing smoke by Daniel Shays Rd. Officer Cappuccio responded with the FD and determined it was a controlled burn.
  • Several officers responded to a traffic complaint on W Main St.
  • Officer Schofield and Cappuccio checked on a vehicle parked by Pratt Way. The operator was stuck in the parking spot and AAA was responding.
  • A 911 caller reported a two-vehicle accident on W Main St.

Friday

  • Officers Beloin and McKeon responded to a report of a vehicle traveling at a high speed on Priscilla. The vehicle was gone on arrival, but they checked the surrounding areas.
  • A resident called, stating they had seen a police officer on their Ring camera. Officer Saletnik confirmed that it was not an HPD officer.
  • Officer Cappuccio assisted with the traffic light on Main St.
  • Officer Beloin checked on two juveniles behind the church. The kids were moving along.

Saturday

  • A 911 caller reported a rollover with entrapment on the I-495 N ramp. Two state police officers were on scene upon arrival.
    • A walk-in reported identity theft.
    • A walk-in reported a stolen package from their house on Woodview Way.
    • A caller reported an emaciated-looking dog running loose on Equestrian Dr. Officer Schofield responded but did not locate the dog.
    • A walk-in had questions regarding liquor licenses. The party was referred to the town hall.
    • A party reported a vehicle illegally parked in a handicapped spot. Officer LaTour arrived and informed the operator of the violation upon pulling out of the spot.
    • Upton PD requested that HPD check on a vehicle involved in a hit-and-run incident in their town.

Sunday

  • A caller reported that while walking on trails by Wood St., a woman was running with 4 to 5 dogs off leash. The caller said his wife had to hold their dog back on the leash and almost injured herself.
  • A 911 caller reported a burning plastic smell in their house.
  • Upton PD reported a 7 or 8-year-old walking alone towards town.
  • A DoorDash driver slid and hit the homeowner’s car.
  • Several vehicles were towed that were blocking the plow trucks.
  • A 911 caller reported a large tire and debris in the road off the ramp to 495.
  • A caller reported that a resident dumped a large amount of snow into the roadway. Officer LaTour spoke with the resident, and they cleaned up the road.
