Reminder and Request From Hopkinton’s DPW

by | Apr 1, 2026 | Announcements, News

HOPKINTON – April 1, 2026: This is both a reminder and a request to all municipal water system users. Now that the warmer weather is upon us, we would like to remind everyone that we are currently in a Level 3 – Critical Drought, and all outdoor non-essential water use is prohibited.

Calling All Residents to Help

It is imperative that all residents and businesses abide by these restrictions to help conserve our water supply.

Please also note that Well #6, our highest-yield well, is currently offline for maintenance, which further limits our available water supply. Because of this, following the drought restrictions is especially important at this time.

We appreciate your cooperation and understanding as we work together to responsibly protect and manage our community’s water resources.–

Water and Sewer Department Manager
