LTE: Thank You, Joe Regan, for Exceptional Tree Care

by | Jun 23, 2025 | Nature, News | 3 comments

The Hopkinton Open Space Preservation Commission extends its gratitude to Joe Regan of Regan Tree Work for his generous donation of a large pile of wood chips to the parking space for the Whitehall Conservation Area off of Wood Street and to Rob Pratt for his generosity in spreading the chips around the maple tree.

The chips are placed to protect the sugar maple tree’s roots and to help prevent the ground from compacting around them, as soil compaction inhibits the roots’ ability to absorb water and nutrients.

They are among the many volunteers who assist the Commission in maintaining our properties for all to enjoy.

Thank you!
