Every November, during Imperial’s Hope for Heroes campaign, the dealership suddenly becomes a hub, collecting coats, toiletries, and other essentials for homeless veterans and those struggling to get by. It’s not just about gathering donations; they help people pause and consider what veterans face after their service.
Why it matters
Handing out basics like warm jackets or hygiene supplies isn’t just charity; it’s a lifeline. It helps veterans navigate difficult moments by offering comfort and a sense of stability on which they can rely.
Thanks to Yanks, an all-volunteer organization, every moment counts. They quickly distribute the donated items directly to veterans who need them.
Leaving an Unforgettable Mark
Imperial Cars once donated a vehicle to a local American Legion post. Suddenly, veterans who needed medical care but had no way to access it could schedule their appointments. That car did more than drive them around—it gave people back some independence and dignity.
Every year, Imperial Cars shows its gratitude to veterans by offering them a free oil change, car wash, 20% off Parts & accessories, and this year, with the PJ’s Miss Mendon Diner open, a free meal. Veterans can stop by any of the dealerships on Veteran’s Day to pick up their Oil Change Voucher (good for a year), meal voucher (good for 30 days), and stop by Imperial Wash & Detail in Mendon for a car wash.
Year after year, Imperial Cars shows up, and Thanks to Yanks, they match their dedication. Together, they prove local businesses can do more than say “thank you” to veterans. They can roll up their sleeves, get involved, and improve lives—right here, every day.
