  • Upton PD requested that W Main St. at School St. be closed due to an accident on Hopkinton Rd. in Upton.
  • A caller reported a tree across the entire road on Saddle Hill Rd. DPW was notified.
  • A caller reported a CO alarm sounding.
  • A caller stated that people were using leaf blowers on Hayden Rowe St., in violation of the town noise bylaw.
  • A party found a wallet at St. John’s Parish near the donation box. Officer Fleuette contacted the owner.
  • Officer Vaz took a report of illegal dumping.
  • A walk-in reported a school bus blatantly ran a red light as she was about to cross at the crosswalk. Officer Santoro stated he will handle the incident with the bus company.
  • A caller reported a transportation service bus has been tailgating him and would like it logged.
  • A caller reported that an erratic operator drove up on her, swerved, and gave her the finger.
  • A complaint came in of a woman on a bike riding the wrong way on Wood St. by the curves.
  • A caller reported a lost wallet.

Wednesday, May 27

  • Officer Walker responded to a report of a paving company taking up a lane of travel on Fruit St. without a detail.
  • Officer Diaz responded to a report of a turtle in the roadway.
  • Several officers responded to a two-vehicle motor vehicle accident on Hayden Rowe St. No one was injured.
  • A woman reported an Amazon driver for almost hitting her. The driver apologized.
  • Officer Diaz responded to a report of a shovel in the middle of Hayward St. It was gone on arrival.
  • A caller reported he was run off the road by a red/black Honda.
  • A caller reported a gas tank in the middle of Cedar St. Officer McKeon removed it.
  • A caller requested an officer check the area for an unregistered solicitor.
  • DPW was notified of a tree down on East St.
  • A caller requested an officer check in with juveniles hanging out on Valentine Rd.

Thursday, May 28

  • DPW was advised of a car bumper in the roadway.
  • Officers Diaz and Walker assisted with a house lockout.
  • Officer Saletnik removed a turtle from the roadway.
  • A male party reported a vehicle hit his in a parking lot.
  • An anonymous caller reported seeing a female party whom she knows does not have a license get onto the highway in Milford.
  • A caller reported his dog was attacked by another dog. A message was left with the ACO.
  • A caller states she saw a young boy riding a bicycle, pulled by a dog on a leash, who was unsteady. She was concerned he may fall into the road.
  • A custodian at the high school reported a senior prank in progress. They threw toilet paper on the trees and moved benches and trash barrels, trying to get into the school.

Friday, May 29

  • Officer Buentello responded to a residential fire alarm activation.
  • A resident reported cars not stopping at the stop sign.
  • A 911 caller reported a disabled vehicle on Main St.
  • Officer Buentello took a crash report for a single-motor-vehicle accident with no personal injuries.
  • Officer Bennett assisted a party with some questions regarding upcoming parking for a traffic project.
  • A walk-in reported a large amount of stone coming off a large TT unit.
  • A caller reported her Yorkie dog has gotten loose and is missing. ACO was contacted.
  • An employee reported a customer harassing her.
  • A caller reported screeching tires coming from EMC park.
  • Officer LaTour assisted a woman who reported that her wallet was stolen and that someone in Florida is trying to use her identity.
  • A walk-in reported her husband was bugging her vehicle.

Saturday, May 30

  • A caller reported finding a loose dog while out with his dog on Church St. It slipped its collar and ran off. The owner then showed up.
  • A walk-in requested that a statement be logged.
  • Multiple calls reported a tree came down on a power line on Wood St.
  • A caller would like it logged that she left three messages with the town tree warden regarding dangerous trees this past week.
  • A caller reported an erratic operator going under the speed limit and all over the road on South St.
  • Officer Normandin responded to a report of a detached trailer that had been left at various times on Walcott St.
  • A neighbor reported possible fireworks on Hayward St. It was just Eversource working on the power.

Sunday, May 31

  • A caller reported loud people outside on Mayhew Ct. at 12:11 in the morning. Officer Manning advised the parties to keep it down.
  • A caller reported a vehicle hit a burn on Main St.
  • Officer Vaz responded to a C/O alarm activation.
  • A caller reported that a coyote is stuck in her fence on W Elm St. ACO responded and checked with Tufts to see if they would help it.
  • A caller reported a vehicle without a boat ramp parking sticker. Officer Manning issued a parking violation.
  • A caller reported a parking complaint about a vehicle parked on the side of the roadway, preventing an emergency vehicle from passing.
  • Officer LaTour responded to a motor vehicle accident on Main St.
  • A walk-in reported stolen signs.
  • Officer Manning spoke with the owner of a vehicle parked in the fire lane.
  • A caller reported a party operating heavy equipment in violation of town by-law.
  • Officer Ziniti responded to a report of someone knocking on a resident’s door, and the resident then went to sit in their vehicle outside the house. It was two parties soliciting.
