Arrests

  • On August 6, EL of Framingham was arrested on charges of:
    • Unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle
    • Speeding in violation of a special regulation
    • Negligent operation of a motor vehicle
  • On August 10, RS of Milford was arrested on charges of:
    • Resisted arrest
    • Disorderly conduct
    • Operating under the influence of liquor
    • Failure to stop for police

August 4

  • Multiple 911 calls reported a man stuck in a bathroom. Officers Matos and Buentello responded and assisted the man.
  • A caller reported that a dump truck lost its tire. Officer Buentello located the vehicle and ensured they were all set as the operator already had assistance en route.
  • A walk-in reported they were involved in a hit and run two days ago.
  • A caller reported a landscape vehicle on Sanctuary Ln., causing a hazard.
  • A caller reported a dog on Spring St. that looked to be injured or limping.
  • Officer Burchard responded to a report of loose chickens on Lumber St.
  • Two youths and their parents were spoken to regarding the operation of ATVs in the roadway.
  • A voicemail was left with ACO regarding a cat living under a house on Reservoir Rd.
  • A caller reported that a raccoon attempted to claw through her screen door to get to her dogs.
  • Officers Ziniti and McKeon assisted Milford PD with contacting a resident involved in a road rage incident in their town.

August 5

  • A walk-in reported illegal dumping.
  • A 911 caller reported a piece of equipment caught fire in the woods by Fruit St. The FD and a couple of officers responded.
  • A walk-in turned in what looked to be a kid’s watch.
  • A walk-in reported on-going suspicious activity.
  • A walk-in found a driver’s license in the parking lot of the old drug store. Officer Walker contacted the owners and returned it.

August 6

  • Holliston PD requested assistance. Officers Normandin and Vaz responded.
  • A caller reported a Kia that entered the school lot the wrong way.
  • Several officers responded to an SOS from a silver BMW.
  • Officer Cappuccio responded to a report of a trailer hitch in the roadway, but was unable to locate it.
  • A message was left with ACO regarding a beaver in a resident’s backyard.
  • A passerby reported a woman pushing a stroller between the 495 ramps on W Main St. Officer Cappuccio gave a courtesy transport to a safer walking location.
  • A caller reported juveniles being loud and possibly drinking in the parking lot.

August 7

  • A resident reported a blue vehicle speeding by his residence at 4:50 A.M. and then again at 6:20. The resident obtained video footage of the car but was unable to see the license plate.
  • An Ashland police officer reported that his friend is on duty at the Laborers Training Center, but a car is parked where they are supposed to pave.
  • A party was hit by a rock on 495. State PD was contacted.
  • A caller reported that a vehicle is parked in front of his house on Pond St., and he can hear shouting.

August 8

  • A caller reported a road hazard of paving vehicles without a detail. Officer Buentello spoke with the crew, and they said they were finishing up shortly.
  • A caller reported an unoccupied vehicle in the road on East Main St. Officers Cann and Ekross responded and called a tow.
  • A caller reported a possibly stolen plate.
  • A 911 caller reported that their water heater is leaking into her basement.

August 9

  • Southborough PD requested a female officer to assist with booking.
  • Southborough PD brought a person in custody to use the Hopkinton PD breathalyzer.
  • Officer Normandin stood by a disabled vehicle on W Main St. while a tow arrived.
  • A message was left with ACO regarding a loose dog.
  • A caller asked if residents are allowed to use machines that make noise on their property. Officer Walker informed them that they were as long as they adhered to the town bylaws regarding restrictions on Sundays.
  • A 911 caller reported being behind an erratic operator on Fruit St.
  • A caller asked about her neighbor smoking near her window.

August 10

  • A 911 caller reported a tree was down on East St., blocking the road. DPW was notified, and cones were placed to detour traffic.
  • A caller reported hearing a loud crash early in the morning. Then, when she was out for a walk, she noticed her neighbor’s mailbox was hit and destroyed. Officers Cann and Burchard spoke with the owner of the mailbox, who stated they were not concerned about it.
  • A caller reported a road rage incident on Cedar St., where she was almost run off the road.
  • A detail officer turned in a credit card found on Cedar St.
  • Framingham PD requested assistance with a hit and run in their town.
