Hopkinton Water and Sewer: Hydrant Flow Tests and PFAS Backwash, Tuesday and Wednesday, April 22 & 23

Tuesday, April 22, from 9—11 A.M.

Multiple hydrant flow tests will be conducted in several locations. Due to its location on main transmission lines, there may be discoloration afterward.

Wednesday, April 23, 9—11 A.M.

The town will be conducting the first backwash of the PFAS filters. This requires a rapid flow of water from the system, similar to a fire flow test.

Please check your water before using during and after that time frame on both days.
