June 17

  • A caller reported a suspicious male claiming he is there to paint a house. The caller did not hire a painter. Officer Normandin spoke with the painter who waited in their vehicle and realized they had the wrong address.
  • A caller reported protestors on private property and asked them to be removed. Officer Normandin and Ziniti issued a verbal warning, and the protestors moved to the public sidewalk.
  • A walk-in had questions regarding no trespassing orders.
  • A two-car accident occurred on W Main St.
  • A car door on the back of a tow truck swung open and struck a mailbox, causing damage. The homeowner informed the tow company that he would replace the mailbox himself.

June 18

  • Malborough PD requested a check for damage to a vehicle belonging to a resident of Hopkinton that was involved in a hit-and-run in their town.
  • A 911 caller reported she was backed into on W Main St.
  • A caller reported that he had hired two men to clean up his yard and noticed that his chainsaw was missing.
  • Officer Ziniti assisted a tractor-trailer with a tight turn.
  • A caller wished to report fraud.
  • ACO responded to a report of a dog that attacked and killed the neighbor’s chickens.

June 19

  • A caller reported a DMV off the road on the grass by W Main St. The vehicle owner informed officers that a tow was coming.

June 20

  • Multiple 911 calls reported a motor vehicle accident on W Main St. No one was hurt.
  • A walk-in reported fraud.
  • A caller reported a white Volkswagen driving erratically.
  • Officer Cappuccio assisted with blocking traffic as a tree was removed from Snowy Owl Rd.
  • Officer Ekross spoke with a caller who requested that a truck be moved from the front of her house. Officer Ekross informed the woman that the vehicle was parked legally, but she should call if it becomes an issue.
  • A caller reported a very angry solicitor.
  • Officers Beloin and Saletnik responded to a road rage incident. The parties were separated and went on their own way.
  • A caller reported that a man in shorts and a baseball hat riding a bike was approaching his home and then quickly took off when the caller arrived.

June 21

  • A 911 caller reported a loud car at the EMC Park. When Officer Beloin arrived, no one was in the area.
  • A caller stated he thinks his kayak was stolen.
  • A walk-in reported a tree down a block from the station.
  • A caller reported property damage.
  • Several 911 calls reported a motor vehicle accident on Pleasant St. The operator was transported to UMass Hospital, and Verizon was contacted regarding the damaged pole. DPW was also notified of damage to a sign.
  • A caller reported his wallet was stolen from McIntyre Field, and one of his credit cards was being used at CVS.
  • A caller reported they found a big white dog on Rice St.

June 22

  • A walk-in reported a deceased fawn in the road on Cedar St. Officer McKeon moved the animal to the side of the road.
  • A report came in regarding an unregistered motorcycle and a verbal confrontation.
  • A 911 caller reported an erratic operator on Wood St. Officers checked the operator, who showed no signs of impairment. The operator stated they were changing the radio station.
  • A caller requested that an officer take a report for a physical altercation that occurred between the beach and the boat ramp by Cedar St.
  • Officer LaTour issued four parking citations.
