Summary
HPD responded to various issues, such as an unsecured vehicle with keys left inside, malfunctioning traffic lights (which were found to be working properly), suspiciously parked vehicles, and debris reported in the roadway.
They also assisted residents with court summons questions and responded to reports of credit card fraud. Police issued warnings to drivers blocking school buses, managed animal-related calls, including a deer strike, barking and lost dogs, and inquiries about deceased pets.
Officers investigated reports of suspicious behavior, responded to a commercial fire alarm, and helped with non-firearm fingerprinting. Additional calls included concerns about vehicles parked overnight ahead of the marathon and questions about vehicle towing procedures.
