On April 3 the Hopkinton Democrats hosted the local democratic caucus to endorse candidates for the local town election on May 15th . The Hopkinton Select Board room had a full house in attendance in support of the 12 candidates for 13 races that were nominated and endorsed. State Rep. James Arena-DeRosa opened the evening with an update from Beacon Hill and Q&A from attendees.
The candidates endorsed are:
- Amy Ritterbusch, Select Board Member – candidate for re-election
- Adam Munroe for School Committee
- Susan Stephenson for School Committee
- Nasiba Mannan for Hopkinton Board of Health
- Ilana Casady for Housing Authority – 1yr seat
- Michael King for Planning Board – 5yr seat
- Matthew Wronka for Planning Board – 5yr seat – incumbent
- Mary Duggan for Commissioner of Trust Funds – candidate for re-election
- Laura Hanson for Parks & Rec – candidate for re-election
- Ravi Dasari for Parks & Rec
- Warren Carter for Library Trustee – incumbent
- John Cardillo for Constable
- Adam Munroe for Assessors – candidate for re-election
All the endorsed candidates have been actively engaged previously in the caucus and each had collected more than 50 signatures that have been certified by the Town Clerk’s office to place them on the May town election ballot.
