The Hopkinton Girls Varsity Co-op Hockey team invites you to join in their fight to “STICK IT TO CANCER”.
On January 27th at 4:00pm at New England Sports Center in Marlborough, the team will be hosting an Ovarian Cancer Awareness fundraiser game. During the game, they will be raffling off gifts donated by local businesses within the Co-op communities. They will also be holding a 50/50 raffle and selling baked goods.
All proceeds raised during this event will go to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute on behalf of the girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. community. girlygirl P.A.R.T.S is a non-profit organization focused on raising money to fight Ovarian Cancer and improve cancer screening techniques to detect this deadly cancer much earlier in women. HopNews readers know girlygirl P.A.R.T.S. from the exceedingly popular annual fashion fundraiser hosted by Marie Boyle and Kathy Mazur.
Fans that can’t make it to the game but would like to make a donation are encouraged to contact Coach Messier at mmessier@hopkinton.k12.ma.us.
Thank you, Hop News for your continued coverage of these events that raise awareness!
