They exist to stir up discontent and support some whiners in town. If it was truly that important, it’s unlikely it would be so hidden. Their efforts are never productive.

We are reaching tbe moment where the Real Truths start revealing.

Where accounting and accountability can no longer reconcile and the imbalance rises to the top and brought into the light.

If you really feel this story will be unsettling to many in town, I suggest turning off the comment section.
It has become a cesspool of negativity and meanness and in reality, it will someday cause someone to act irrationally off line. If Hopnews is concerned with public saftey and community engagement, the resposible action is to turn off commenting for this story and forgo the click bait attraction to and for Hopnews.

I completely understand and share your concerns. Since we implemented our comment policy, we haven’t had any issues of that kind. We have to approve all comments. We do not publish personal attacks or comments unrelated to the article. If a reader continues to send inappropriate remarks, we block them. It’s unfortunate, because we strongly support free speech — but we’re not here to supervise bad behavior.

Our policy: HopNews welcomes comments that are respectful and contribute meaningfully to the discussion. Readers are free to criticize ideas or disagree with opinions, but personal attacks will not be published.
