Participate in Your Town Government!
WHEN: Saturday, May 2, 9 A.M.
WHERE: Hopkinton Middle School Auditorium, 88 Hayden Rowe. The Middle School Auditorium is accessible.
Hopkinton Annual Town Meeting (ATM) uses an Open Town Meeting form of government, meaning all registered Hopkinton voters have a direct voice and may vote on all warrant articles. Warrant articles may create new bylaws, update existing ones, or affect zoning.
ATM also sets the budget for the upcoming fiscal year by determining the town’s operating budget, as well as capital purchases and projects. Both operating and capital budgets affect the services the town provides, which, in turn, affect property taxes.
