The mural tradition in front of the Hopkinton Public Library began in 2024. It was part of Hopkinton’s centennial celebration marking 100 years as the starting point of the iconic Marathon. The mural honors Hopkinton’s unique connection to the world-famous Boston Marathon®.

This Year’s Artist

Faith Sycaoyao, a 20-year-old Filipino-Chinese artist, is the artist behind the 2025 Boston Marathon® mural, “Limitless.” Her mural now brightens the area outside the Hopkinton Public Library.

Currently, she has mastered over 40 artistic techniques/mediums.
