The Town of Hopkinton has been awarded a grant from Commonwealth’s Executive Office of Public Safety and Security and the Department of Fire Services. In 2023, $15,268 will be provided to the town for equipment that will improve the safety of our firefighters.

In a letter dated December 7, Governor Charlie Baker congratulated Chief William Miller on winning the grant.

“Through great challenges in recent years, the fire service in Massachusetts has maintained the level of dependability and excellence that the citizens of the Commonwealth have come to expect. Please know how thankful I am for this, and how grateful I am to be able to provide your department with this important equipment,” wrote Governor Baker.
