Yellow Bag Day

The Hopkinton Sustainable Green Committee is driving the town wide cleanup this year. Anyone who wants to help can come to the Common between 9am and 12pm to collect a yellow garbage bag. We will then assign you to clean up litter in a certain area and when finished you can leave your tied-up, full bag at a designated area nearby. (DPW picks up the bags on Monday.) Groups are welcome to participate and pick up trash in an area they are affiliated with. For example, at the high school, the Environmental Action Club will focus on the school campus. For groups, we will allow them to do the cleanup on Friday if that works better, and they can name the area they want to clean up.
