Don had many titles in his life – devoted husband, proud father, adoring grandfather, honorable veteran, dependable brother, and loyal friend. To those who knew him, he was a deep pool of warmth and generosity. To those who didn’t know him, he could be guarded, but the ice quickly melted with a well-timed joke or a new opportunity to offer help.
Gale moved to Boston to attend Northeastern University, graduating in 1964 with a degree in psychology. She dedicated 38 years of her professional life in compassionate service to others working for the Massachusetts Department of Transitional Assistance.
Jon was a 2005 graduate of Keefe Tech in Framingham. He was an artist and loved music, writing, animals, and the outdoors. In his younger years, Jon was a dedicated Boy Scout. His wit and sense of humor will be sorely missed by all.
In addition to John, Ginny is survived by her two beloved children, Abigail Marie Foster of Belmont, MA, and Jeffrey Hansen Foster of South Lake Tahoe, CA. She also leaves behind her sister, Lee Marie Bergstrom, and her husband Scott of Grand Marais, MN; her brother-in-law, Gregg Strathy of Eugene, OR; as well as aunts and uncles, Nancy Hansen of Lutsen, MN, Bonnie and Andy Hastings of Irvine, CA. She is predeceased by her sister, Janette Hansen Strathy, and her aunts and uncles, Marland Hansen, Harvey, and Marie Morck.

In Hopkinton, Joan worked as a salesclerk at Hopkinton Drug Store for 17 years. She also volunteered for many hours serving meals at the Hopkinton Senior Center. But her most important hours were spent as a devoted wife, mother, and homemaker.
Born in Everett, Massachusetts, Mrs. Hahesy grew up in nearby Revere, attended Mount Saint Joseph Academy, Boston, and graduated from the Massachusetts College of Art and Design with a bachelor of fine arts in painting and drawing.
In her younger years, Linda enjoyed camping throughout New England with her family, bowling, and various crafts including sewing and crocheting macramé chairs. Later on, you might find her chasing the shade in the yard while reading a good book or sitting on the deck overlooking Lake Maspenock enjoying the view.
Anthony is survived by his daughter, Lindsay McDermott of Hopkinton; his siblings, Joyce Bodak and her husband Michael of Southwick, MA, Thomas Shaker and his wife Nancy of Westfield, MA; sister-in-law, Jane Maheu of New Seabury, MA; 5 grandchildren, Conor, Taylor, Madison, Piper and Brody of Hopkinton; as well as his nieces and nephews, Cheryl Sunshine, Mark Bodak, Tyler, Nicole and Ryan Maheu, and Courtney Sullivan. He is predeceased by his brother-in-law, Ronald Maheu, and nephew, Ben Shaker.
