Governor Healey, Lt. Governor Driscoll Headline State Democratic Convention

Today, May 29th, Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll will join delegates at the Massachusetts Democratic Convention to outline their campaign priorities and vision for Massachusetts. After they speak, delegates will vote to officially nominate Governor Healey and Lt Governor Driscoll as the endorsed Democratic ticket for their reelection campaign.

In their first term, Governor Healey and Lieutenant Governor Driscoll were steadfast in their efforts to lower costs and stand up against President Trump. The Healey-Driscoll administration has built more housing and eliminated renters’ fees to lower costs. They also opposed energy rate hikes and worked to get charges off bills, capped health care co-pays and deductibles, eliminated prior authorizations, made transformative investments in education and transportation, and stood up to the damage President Trump is doing every day.
