Summary

The latest Hopkinton police log notes one arrest and a busy week of weather-related calls, including vehicles off the road, minor crashes with no reported injuries, and winter parking ban violations. Officers also addressed downed wires, water service issues at homes and businesses, malfunctioning alarms, and several lost-and-found items such as a debit card and driver’s license.

Animal and quality-of-life calls featured prominently, with multiple loose or missing dogs, a deceased opossum in the roadway, and a reported bear sighting referred to animal control.
