The popular Annual Boy Scout Troop 4 Pancake Breakfast and Silent Auction fundraiser was held on Saturday. By all accounts, it was a success. The HopNews Taste Testers (HNTT) said, “Duuude. Those flapjacks were like wicked good!”

The Pancake Breakfast is a community tradition hosted by Boy Scout Troop 4 of Hopkinton. Pancake choices were: original, chocolate chip, or gluten/dairy/nut-free waffles. Pancakes and waffles were served with sausage, milk, juice, coffee, etc.

Local businesses and organizations donate to the silent auction. The Hopkinton community’s generosity is astounding. Among the donated items were many gift baskets, dining certificates, local attractions, Red Sox tickets, and local business services.

This event is Troop 4’s main fundraiser, and proceeds are used to fund scouting events in the community, summer camps, high-adventure outings such as hiking in State and National Parks, and other outdoor activities.
