Hopkinton Historical Society Cultural Day Trip May 10

Woonsocket, RI was one of many textile manufacturing centers in New England. By1920, seventy percent of its citizens were French-Canadian making it the largest per capita percentage in the U.S. The HHS invites you to join us the morning of May 10 on two guided tours: The Museum of Work & Culture and St. Anne’s Arts & Cultural Center. The Museum walks through eleven interpretive exhibits of that era. St. Anne’s, a former cathedral, features fresco paintings covering the ceiling and walls in the style of Michelangelo and Raphael.
