Sunday, June 24, 2012
10:11 pm An officer advised an operator in front of the Middle School to move along.
10:02 pm An officer spoke with two individuals on the Loop Road and sent them on their way.
9:43 pm An officer checked a motor vehicle on West Main Street.
8:46 pm An officer checked a motor vehicle on Ash Street.
8:39 pm An eight year old boy and his two younger sisters called 911 to report that their parents were not home on Hidden Brick Road. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and advised that their mother was in the back yard.
7:15 pm Their were several 911 calls regarding a motor vehicle accident with personal injury on Grove Street. Two units responded and one individual was transported to the hospital.
6:22 pm One unit responded to a minor motor vehicle accident with no personal injuries on Chestnut Street.
6:18 pm There was a 911 call from a West Main Street store manager reporting shoplifting in progress. Two officers responded and subsequently an individual was arrested and charged with Shoplifting by Asportation, 3rd Offense and Receiving Stolen Property under $250.00.
6:05 pm A resident of Amherst Road reported hearing gunshots in the woods behind her house. Officer Stephen Buckley responded and advised that all was quiet.
4:09 pm A 911 caller from Highcroft Way reported a verbal disturbance at a neighbors house between a husband and wife. Two units responded and advised that the wife left the residence.
4:03 pm An officer assisted with a disabled motor vehicle on School Street.
12:37 pm Officer Thomas Griffin checked the parking situation on Lakeshore Drive.
12:22 pm A Yale Road resident reported heavy equipment being operated in violation of town by-laws. A unit responded and shut down the backhoe.
10:01 am An officer assisted at a charity event on Main Street.
4:19 am A caller from Stagecoach Way reported hearing loud people on the lake in a boat. Two units checked the area and removed some males, from out of town, who were visiting a friend.
12:16 am A Longwood Drive resident reported that his neighbor was having a pool party and they were making a lot of noise. Officer Linda Higgins spoke with the home owner who turned down the radio.
12:14 am A caller reported that a teen boy was walking on West Main Street near the causeway. Officers checked the area with a negative find.

Saturday, June 23, 2012
10:27 pm There was a report of a disabled motor vehicle on West Main Street, but the vehicle was gone upon arrival.
9:49 pm A 911 caller from Pond Street reported that his 17 year old son was out of control. Three units responded and subsequently arrested an individual and charged him with Assault and Battery.
9:23 pm A motorist called 911 to report that a hit fawn was in the middle of Cedar Street. An officer checked the area and stated that the fawn had run off into the woods.
4:00 pm A caller from Hayden Rowe Street complained about noise from a public gathering. Officer Philip Powers responded and advised that there was no excessive.
12:34 pm An individual reported that he left his wallet on a gas pump on West Main Street. He stated that it was returned to him with cash in it but his credit cards were missing.
11:00 am There was a report of a stray dog bothering people at the recycling center on Wood Street. The Animal Control Officer was advised.
9:30 am A motorist reported that a motor vehicle was all over the road and jumping the curb. Officer Thomas Griffin spoke with the operator who said that she was over tired.
7:40 am A 911 caller reported that there was a trash bag in the roadway on Wood Street. An officer responded and removed it.
1:44 am An officer checked a motor vehicle on South Street.

Friday, June 22, 2012
11:50 pm A motorist reported that a vehicle was all over the road and driving in an excessively low speed on Grove Street. Officers responded and subsequently arrested a male and charged him with Marked Lanes Violation, Unlicensed Operation of a Motor Vehicle and OUI Liquor.
8:32 pm A caller reported that vehicles were parked on both sides of Eastview Road, causing a road hazard. Officer Mathew McNeil spoke with the home owner and advised that the vehicles were moved.
7:32 pm There was a report of a disable motor vehicle on 495. The State Police were notified.
6:18 pm An officer assisted the Ashland Police Department with a motor vehicle accident on East Main Street.
6:17 pm The Sewer Department was notified about a sewer pump alarm going off on Hayden Rowe Street.
6:16 pm The Sewer Department was notified about a sewer pump alarm going off on Lakeshore Drive.
5:53 pm A caller reported a telephone pole and wires across the roadway on Cedar Street. An officer placed barriers across the roadway and notified the electric company to respond.
5:50 pm A 911 caller reported a tree across the roadway on Walcott Street. An officer responded and requested the DPW respond.
5:10 pm A motorist reported an erratic operator on West Main Street. An officer followed the vehicle to the town line but did not observe any violations.
5:04 pm A Granite Street resident complained about speeding vehicles. An officer checked the area with a negative find.
4:46 pm A 911 caller reported an erratic operator on School Street. A unit checked the area with a negative find of the vehicle.
3:12 pm There was a report of an intoxicated man inside a West Main Street business. Two units responded and advised that the individual was taken home by a sober person.
3:01 pm A caller reported that someone had an open fire in the State Park. The Fire Department responded and extinguished the fire.
11:14 am An officer assisted the Fire Department with a fire alarm investigation on South Street.
10:06 am An officer performed a car seat inspection on Main Street.
9:14 am The pump station on Lakeshore Drive was vandalized.
8:08 am A caller reported that landscaping trucks were in the roadway on Wedgewood Drive. An officer responded and advised that there was no hazard.
12:02 am Two officers removed eight people from Sandy Beach.
