1. Start
Times:
a. 9:00 AM: Mobility Impaired start
b. 9:22 AM: Wheelchair and Handcycles start
c. 9:32 AM: Elite women start
d. 10:00 AM: First Wave Runner start
e. 10:30 AM: Second Wave runner start
f. This year, Runners will be lined up in
corrals which will be placed on Main Street, from the starting
line to the Police station.
2. Road
Closures:
a. All roads around the Town Common will be shut
down at 07:00 AM
b. All roads leading into Hopkinton will be shut
down at 07:30 AM
c. Route 495 Exit 21A North and South will be
closed at 07:30
Anticipated road re-opening 12:30 PM.
3. Bus
Shuttle Service:
a. Shuttle service for runners and spectators
will start at 06:00 AM from designated parking lots on South
Street and the Hopkinton State Park. A total of 60 buses will be
used for the shuttle. The shuttle service will run from 6AM to
12 PM Noon.
b. Registered Runners boarding the 20 buses on South
Street will be transported from South Street to Hopkinton High
School via Route 495 South to Route 85 North to the High School.
THIS IS FOR REGISTERED RUNNERS ONLY.
c. Spectators boarding the 20 buses on South Street will
be transported to Main Street and Mayhew Street where they will
exit the buses. IT IS SUGGESTED THAT ALL
SPECTATORS USE THE BUSES AT HOPKINTON STATE PARK.

Spectators and runners boarding the 20 buses at the
Hopkinton State Park will be transported to the intersection of
Cedar Street and A Street where they will exit the buses and
walk to the High School. IT IS SUGGESTED
THAT ALL SPECTATORS USE THE BUSES AT HOPKINTON STATE PARK.
e. A
“VOLUNTEER ONLY” pick up bus will
meet at the Hopkinton Town Common at 12 PM Noon for
transportation back to Boston. This is for BAA volunteers only.
4. Parking:
a. There will be no on
street parking allowed in or near the center of town on Marathon
Monday.
b. Numerous roads in Hopkinton will be posted No
Parking.
c. Parking is allowed only in designated parking
lots on South Street and at Hopkinton State Park. Parking is not
allowed on South Street or Cedar Street.
d. All violators will be
TICKETED and TOWED. NO EXCEPTIONS.
5.
Residents:
a. Please allow ample time to leave your
residence to go about your daily business if necessary. Once the
roads have closed you will not be allowed to return until the
roads re-open without an authorized pass. No Exceptions.

Businesses:
a. Please advise your employees of the road
closing times. Unless you have an authorized vehicle pass, you
will not be able to reach your destination. No Exceptions.
